Asia-Pacific Public Health Forum 2026
2026亞太公衛論壇
August 22-24, 2026
Young public health leaders unite in Taiwan.
Shaping the future of public health from Taiwan to the world!
Youth Engagement | International Forum | Cultural Experience | Youth Travel
Centered on health equity, inclusive care, and youth action, the Forum brings together a policy roundtable, an institutional visit, hands-on research workshops, health advocacy, and cultural immersion. Participants will explore contemporary public health challenges through the interconnected perspectives of policy, research, and community practice. We will focus on migrant health governance and tuberculosis prevention and control. Participants will also visit Harmony Home Association Taiwan’s Xindian Adult Center to learn about the services available to people living with HIV and gain first-hand insight into a comprehensive, person-centered care environment.
They will also take part in two workshop tracks focusing on BMJ medical literature review and parasitology. Through group collaboration, peer review, discussions of current issues, and the observation of actual specimens, participants will strengthen their skills in literature appraisal, critical thinking, and real-time response while deepening their understanding of food hygiene, environmental cleanliness, and disease prevention. The program will also feature an alcohol-free networking night centered on alcohol intolerance, as well as a cultural immersion experience in the Sanying Indigenous Community. These activities will encourage young participants to understand the health experiences of diverse communities through the lenses of health equity, the social determinants of health, and cultural safety. By fostering exchange across countries, universities, and disciplines, we aim to connect young public health leaders throughout the Asia-Pacific region and transform global perspectives into inclusive action with meaningful local impact.
